Abstract:
To restrain fatigue or damage of a cushioning member caused by repeated vertical oscillation of a polishing tool during a polishing work in a pipe inner face-polishing device which houses a rotary shaft supporting the polishing tool freely rotatably around a shaft in a sheath pipe supported like cantilever to a carriage.SOLUTION: A pipe inner face-polishing device 1 comprises: a polishing tool 35 applied on the inner face of a pipe body P rotating around a pipe shaft; a rotary shaft 30 having the polishing tool 35 on the tip thereof; a sheath pipe 50 equipped with an internal cylinder 51 supporting the rotary shaft 30 freely rotatably around the shaft, and an external cylinder 52 disposed outside the internal cylinder 51; a carriage 2 supporting the rear end part of the sheath pipe 50 and freely movable forward and backward along the pipe shaft direction of the pipe body P; a drive unit 3 rotating the rotary shaft 30 around the shaft; and a cushioning member 60 comprising a rubber or resin and arranged in an annular space between the internal and external cylinders 51 and 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
