To provide a pipe joint which attains cost reduction and surely prevents connection failure, and to provide a pipe connection structure and a pipe connection method using the pipe joint.
The pipe joint includes: a joint body 2 in which its one end side is provided with an insertion portion 7 of roughly cylindrical shape that is inserted inside a pipe 1 to be connected; a split ring 10 which is arranged outside the insertion portion in a state that the pipe to be connected can be inserted between the insertion portion and itself and structured in such a way that the diameter thereof can be reduced; a presser ring 18 which covers the split ring and reduces its diameter; and a cap nut 15 which is connected to the joint body, engages with the presser ring when connected to the joint body, and is capped on the split ring by sliding the presser ring. The split ring has a plurality of cutout portions in the circumferential direction. The cap nut has light transmission property so that a connected pipe inserted inside the split ring can be viewed from outside the cap nut through the cutout portions.
