A pipe member cutting device is provided with a base part movable in the direction B1 going toward a pipe member 14 and a direction B2 going away from the pipe member 14, and an builtup part 32 having cutting edge 78a, 78b dividable around a rotary shaft fixed to the base part 28. The cutting edges 78a, 78b are provided with peripheral part cutting edges arranged radially outward from the rotary shaft. A plurality of contact parts continuously arranged along these edges are formed, and one of these contact parts is disposed in an active cutting position, while the others are respectively disposed in inactive stand-by positions. During the movement of the cutting edges 78a, 78b, the contact part disposed in the active cutting position comes in cutting contact with the pipe member 14 to cut first and second pipe walls 16, 18.
