EXAMPLE: (3S,5S,8aS,9aS)-3-methyl-2H-decahydrocyclopenta[4,5]pyrrolo[1,2- a]pyridine-1,4-dione.
USE: Medicines. nootropic agents. Has psychotropic action for the therapy and prophylaxis of disturbances in the central nervous system and is useful for especially the therapy of the dysfunction of recognition.
PREPARATION: A compound of formula II (wherein X1 is a protective groups such as OCH3 or OC2H5) and a compound of formula III are reacted with each other in the presence of a base and/or a coupling aid in a solvent, and the obtained compound of formula IV is intramolecularly cyclized to obtain a compound of formula I.
