To provide double resonance and to save space, which are suitable for a portable radio device, by generating a gap by means of making both opening ends of the other end side of a long radiation element part and a short radiation element part to be approximate and matching them by mutual connection capacity generated here.
An antenna radiation element 3 is provided with the long radiation element part 17 having length resonating in a low frequency band in two reception bands and a short radiation element part 18 having length resonating in the high frequency band. One is connected to a branching part 16 and the other is opened. In the antenna radiation element 3, double resonance is generated with ground in a circuit board 6 below the element, and received power passes through a feeding terminal 4, a feeding land 13 and a feeding line from the antenna element 3 and enters a reception circuit. Thus, mutual capacitive connection quantity is controlled and a matching state can be set to be optimum by making the distance of the gap generated when the opening end of the long radiation element part and the opening end of the short radiation element part 18 are made approximate to an appropriate value.
