Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleating method by which pleats having different heights can be formed on a fabric in an optional distribution style, while the plating processing is performed by a pleating machine method.
SOLUTION: In a state that a fabric is carried, a connection link 42 is reciprocated by the rotation of a driving shaft 34 to reciprocate a pleat-forming lever 43 on a shaft 45. While pleat-forming tines 10 attached to the end portion of the lever 43 is reciprocated, a hydraulic cylinder 50 is driven to operate a plunger 51, thereby changing the position of a connection shaft 47 in a long connection hole 48 in a desired direction only at a desired distance. Thereby, the reciprocation angle of the pleat-forming lever 43 is changed to change the stroke S of the pleat-forming tines 10. Consequently, the heights of the pleats formed with the pleat-forming tines 10 can be changed during the operation of the pleating device 1.
