Abstract:
To judge propriety of internal pressure of a pneumatic tire from external appearance of the tire.
In this pneumatic tire 10, radial irregular patterns appear at the time of proper internal pressure and disappear at the time of lowering the internal pressure in a side part S of the tire 10. The tire 10 is provided with a carcass ply 14 formed with a plurality of irregularities along the side part S of the tire 10 and side rubber 16 to change the peripheral direction distribution of gage corresponding to the irregularities of the carcass ply 14. The irregular patterns are generated in the side part S of the tire 10 by linear extension of the carcass ply 14 at the time of filling the internal pressure.
