Abstract:

To provide a production method for a pneumatic tire capable of inexpensively ensuring the current passing properties of a tire wherein a bad conductive rubber is used in a tread rubber layer.

Projections 60 are applied to an unvulcanized strip-like tread rubber 52, which is formed by laminating a cap tread rubber layer 24 comprising the bad conductive rubber and a base tread rubber layer 26 comprising a good conductive rubber, from the back surface of the base tread rubber layer 26 to be allowed to pierce through the cap tread rubber layer 24 up to the surface thereof. By this method, a part of the good conductive rubber of the base tread rubber layer 26 is allowed to appear on the surface of the cap tread rubber layer 24 to form a conductive parts 30 and ensure good conductivity.
