This polyethylene-type resin compsn. for a beverage container comprises component (A), i.e., 70-98 pts.wt. of a copolymer from ethylene and a 3-12 C α-olefin; component (B), i.e., 30-2 pts.wt. of a low-density polyethylene prepd. by a high-pressure radical polymerization method; and component (C), i.e., 0.03-1.5 pts.wt. of inorg. compd. particles having (C1) an average particle size of 0.1-7.0 μm, (C2) an oil absorption amt. of ≥50 mL/100 g, and (C3) a water content of ≤6 wt.%, wherein the amts. of (A) and (B) is based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amt. of (A) and (B), respectively.
