Abstract:

To provide a PPS-made monofilament for a protecting sleeve, which exhibits stable process passability in a process for producing the protecting sleeve and can improve the surface smoothness of the protecting sleeve in an extremely state, and to provide a PPS-made protection sleeve using the monofilaments.

In the polyphenylene sulfide monofilament for the cable-protecting sleeve, substantially including the polyphenylene sulfide, the monofilament has a modified cross-section.
