Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a polyphenylene sulf resin composition excellent in mechanical properties including impact resistance and improved in heat and humidity resistances.

CONSTITUTION: The composition is prepared by mixing 1-99wt.% polyphenylene sulfide resin deionized by at least one operation selected from among acid treatment, treatment with hot water at 100°C or above, and washing with an organic solvent and having a sodium content of 500ppm or below with 99-1wt.% polyamide resin.
