Abstract:

To provide a polyurethane elastic yarn which is excellent in elongation, resilience, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and capability of being dyed with cationic dye, and is suitable for use in a stretch cloth, a wearing apparel or the like.

The polyurethane elastic yarn comprises a polyurethane composed mainly of a polymer diol and a diisocyanate, and contains a polymer of a compound having an anionic functional group. And the polyurethane elastic yarn is produced by adding a polymer of the compound having the anionic group to a solution of a polyurethane composed mainly of a polymer diol and a diisocyanate and spinning.
