This is a portable information terminal equipment in which a protecting cover 12 is connected by a hinge mechanism 13 with one side of a main base 10 as a supporting point so as to be rotatable in a close state that the upper face of the main base 10 is covered and in an open state that the upper face of the main base 10 is released. Then, an ear set can be extracted from an ear set holder 14 provided at the main body base 10, and information exchange can be attained through the main base 10 and an outside line by the ear set. Moreover, outside line connection can be attained by the pen operation of a tablet input pen 22 on a display device with a tablet.
