CONSTITUTION: In a positive temperature coefficient thermistor device 1 comprising a positive temperature coefficient thermistor element 2 having electrodes formed on the opposed surfaces thereof, and a pair of power supply terminals 3 which pinches and holds the positive temperature coefficient thermistor element 2 by elastically pressing the respective electrodes, at least one of the power supply terminals 3 is made using a shape-memory alloy, and it is returned to a memory shape which cannot press the electrode when heated to a predetermined temperature which is preset.
