To provide a powder feeding method for realizing a novel configuration capable of achieving satisfactory efficiency of energy of aeration (aerosolization) and preventing occurrence of blow-by (rathole) even if particle diameter is relatively large (for example, 1 to 10 μm) by a simple structure.
This powder feeding method for feeding powders stored in a storage tank 56 from an upper face side sequentially into a powder transfer passage 46 in a dust collection duct while aerosolizing the powders based on difference in pressure is provided. Among two compressed gas supply hoses 58, 60 suspended in the storage tank 56 and having different lengths, one short hose 58 has length allowing an ejection port to reach an upper face side of the stored powders P, and one long hose 60 has length allowing an injection port to reach a bottom part side of the stored powders P. While a plurality of ejection ports reach an upper face of the stored powders P lowering sequentially by supplying the stored powders P so as to follow the upper face, compressed gas is ejected from the plurality of ejection ports to aerosolize the powders while moving at random.
