Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder filling device and method which use lifting up and down of fluid pressure in an area where powders are stored, and which can be used safely without drain of the powders in an isolation container in which inner pressure, purity in atmosphere, and a dew point are managed such as a glove box.SOLUTION: A powder filling device 1 is mounted (fig.1-b) on a powder container 9 (fig.1-a) storing powders 2, and an opening is closed in an airtight state so that exchange of fluid between a closed area formed of a chamber 8 and the powder container 9 and outside of the area. A rod 5 is reciprocated in a vertical direction shown in the figure, and a diaphram 3 is elastically deformed vertically, for increasing and decreasing fluid pressure in the chamber.
