Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a control section of a drive source from being malfunctioned due to an electromagnetic interference.

CONSTITUTION: An output current I from a power control element 54 is led to a current path of a magneto-optical element 56, into which a linearly polarized light outputted from a luminous source 55 is made in a direction orthogonal to the current I. When the magnetizing state of the magneto-optical element 56 is changed by the current I, the rotation angle of the polarized plane of the linearly polarized light to the magnetooptical element 56 is changed in response to the magnetizing state of the magneto-optical element 56 by the magneto-optical effect, and its rotary angle is converted into an optical signal representing the luminous intensity to control a current flowing to the power control element 54 by ON/OFF of a photo transistor(TR) 59.
