Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out a stepless transmission with a simple structure by directly connecting a gear shaft of a gear pump to a rotary shaft of a transmission, winding a belt around a pulley on an outer periphery of a pump housing and a pulley of an auxiliary equipment, and controlling a flow rate adjustment valve provided on a discharge side of a pump.
CONSTITUTION: A power extraction device 7 is provided with a gear pump 16 which has a pump shaft 17 rotated by the rotation of an always rotating input shaft 2. In the case that a discharge passage 25 is opened by means of a changeover valve 27, fluid suctioned from an inlet passage 12 is discharged to the side of the discharge passage 25 as it is by pumping operation of a gear pump 26, so that a pulley 8 is set in a static condition. When the discharge passage 25 is closed by means of the changeover vlve 27, however, discharge of the fluid is suppressed, a pump housing 29 is rotated as its reaction, and the pulley 8 is rotated. The rotational speed of the pulley 8 is steplessly adjusted by adjusting a variable governing valve 28 and varying an escape rate to the side of a drain 26.
