To provide the power generator of small dimension with high efficiency, based on the magnetohydrodynamic effect.
A closed fluid circuit (3) of the power generator (1) has at least one inlet hole (3a;3'a), capable of flowing pressure gas to generate a mixture of the gas and liquid, and circulating a solution, having a conductive medium liquid in a prescribed direction in the circuit (3); an orifice (5) of a flow with the dimensions set so as to enhance the speed and condensation of the mixture; and at least one outlet hole (3b), releasing the gas mixed in the solution from the circuit (3) to be exhausted. Further, the closed fluid circuit has at least a pair of electrodes (12, 13) facing each other in a direction, almost at a right angle relating to a flow direction of the solution generated by magnetic field generating means (7;8, 9). As a result of these constitutions, a current (I) is obtained, depending on the flow speed (v) of the solution in the lengthwise part (6) of the fluid circuit (3), the intensity (B) of related magnetic field, and electric resistance (R1) between the electrodes (12, 13).
