Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device having a dynamic braking function, which improves shut-down performance of an AC motor and achieves miniaturization and cost reduction.SOLUTION: A switching element for dynamic braking is provided inside a power semiconductor module. By turning the switching element on, each phase terminal of an AC motor is short-circuited via the switching element, braking current is passed to the AC motor, and the AC motor is shut down immediately.
