PURPOSE: To efficiently attain the compaction work of soil and sand following back-filling work by providing a vertically vibrating drive type vibrator to a crawler type running device.

CONSTITUTION: A drive type vibrator 24 to vibrate vertically a crawler type runner 2 is provided to the runner 2 having a dozer 1. By this, when the crawler type runner 2 is vertically vibrated on back-filled soil and sand, the back-filled soil and sand is strongly compacted by a great vibration force with the aid of the weight of the power shovel. Also, since a vibrator 24 is attached to the crawler type runner 2, the compaction work on soil and sand following the back- filling work can be attained by the power shovel without the needs for other apparatus and attachments.
