To provide the power consumption reduction circuit of electronic equipment which is high in versatility.
A power supply circuit 30 of electronic equipment includes a vibration sensor 31 for outputting a voltage in a low level in accordance with the vibration of a portable machine. When the voltage in the low level to be output from the vibration sensor 31 is input to an input terminal 32a of a clock module 32, the clock module 32 performs the interruption output of a high impedance from an output terminal 32b, and starts a measurement operation. Also, the clock module 32 performs the interruption output of the voltage in the low level of the output terminal 32b when a time measured via the measurement operation reaches a specified time. Then, an MOS transistor FET1 is turned on/off on the basis of the interruption output of the clock module 32 so that the unnecessary power consumption of an electronic component 15 can be reduced.
