Abstract:
To reliably prevent a valve of an electrolytic capacitor from opening upon generation of an overpotential of an AC power supply regardless of a situation of a device that operates with a voltage generated by a power supply apparatus.SOLUTION: A power supply control apparatus controls a power supply device, the power supply device including: a rectification unit that includes an electrolytic capacitor for converting an AC voltage input from an AC power supply to a DC voltage; a voltage generation unit that converts the DC voltage output by the rectification unit to a prescribed voltage to be supplied to a first loading device; and a protection unit including a fuse-containing resistance and a switching element, arranged in parallel between an AC power supply terminal and the rectification unit. The power supply control apparatus includes: a detection unit that detects the AC voltage; and a control unit that sets the switching element in a cut-off state after operating the first loading device when a voltage value detected by the detection unit exceeds a first threshold value voltage and if the first loading device is not in operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
