To prevent useless power consumption due to the unexpected switching-on by devising the structure of an off-lock switch of a power tool.
The power tool includes a motor, a housing for storing the motor, a gear part provided at one end side of the housing, a tip tool holding part connected to the gear part, a power supply part provided at the other end side of the housing, a switch provided between the power supply part and the motor, a switch lever which is movably provided to the housing and can operate the switch, and an off-lock lever movably provided to the switch lever. In the power tool, the off-lock lever is provided at the middle part between the one end and the other end of the switch lever, and the end of the other end side of the off-lock lever is provided so as to be engageable with the other end side of the housing.
