Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the precipitation of a metal salt or the flocculation or sedimentation of sulfate polysaccharides by adding a compd. coordinated by a hydroxyl group to metal ions forming a metal compd. precipitated under an alkaline condition.
SOLUTION: Two hydroxyl groups contained in a hydroxyl group coordinating compd. acts on metal ions forming water-insoluble hydroxide under an alkaline condition to chelate metal ions and water solubility can be held even under an alkaline condition. Since the hydroxyl group coordinating compd. is contained, even in an automatic analyzing apparatus using a reagent containing metal ions and an alkaline washing soln., the formation of a precipitate at a time of washing or the deposition of a metal compd. on a waste soln. tube or the clogging of the tube can be prevented and the analysis by the automatic analyzing apparatus is always accurately executed and the analyzing apparatus can be stably operated.
