Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a composition useful for hardner of epoxy resin, etc., by reacting a specified polyamine mixture with aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, etc., under a specified condition, without separation or purification, simply, effectively and in a high yield.
CONSTITUTION: A polyamine mixture contg. ≥75 wt.% triethylenetetramine oligomer or ≥65 wt.% tetraethylenepetamine oligomer is reacted with a acid or its derivative selected from among aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, dicarboxylic acid, their ester and their mixture at the temp. and under the pressure of imidazoline reaction to obtain the objective composition.
