PURPOSE: To obtain an artificial nail capable of corresponding to the individual difference/variety of the shape of a nail, by molding an acrylic resin polymer dissolved in a volatile solvent in an arbitrary shape on the nail and an artificial nail extension fixing plate and curing the molded one to integrally fix and form the same to the nail.

CONSTITUTION: An artificial nail extension fixing plate 3 is mounted to an nail 1 along the leading end thereof and the rear end thereof is fixed to a finger 4. The tip 5 of a brush is immersed in a volatile solvent to sufficiently contain said solvent and a proper amount of a acrylic resin polymer powder is taken by the tip 5 of the brush containing the volatile solvent. At this time, the dissolution of the acrylic resin polymer by the volatile solvent is rapidly completed at the same time. The acrylic resin polymer is molded in an arbitrary shape on the nail 1 and the artificial nail extension fixing plate 3 using the tip 5 of the brush 5. The acrylic resin polymer is integrally fixed to the nail 1 and perfectly cured to form an artificial nail 2. Herein, the artificial nail extension fixing plate 3 is detached.
