Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a coal slurry for coal liquefaction which enables stable and efficient transport and efficient coal liquefaction without decreasing the coal concn. by decreasing the viscosity.
CONSTITUTION: A coal slurry is prepd. by pulverizing coal to give a powder contg. 90wt.% or higher 100 mesh undersize, reducing the water content of the powder to 85% or lower of the equilibrium moisture of coal, and mixing the powder with a coal liquefaction solvent and a coal liquefaction catalyst.
