PURPOSE: To impart metallic gloss and high decorativity rich in elegance to an entire surface, by successively forming a transparent resin layer having high releasability, a coating layer wherein two or more resin different in hardness are appropriately compounded and a metal film layer to a base film and forming an embossed pattern to the metal film layer by heat treatment.

CONSTITUTION: A film composed of a polyester resin is used as a base film 1 and a transparent release layer 2 composed of an acrylic resin is applied to the surface of said film 1 and a hard resin layer 3' is printed on said layer 2 and a soft resin layer 3" is subsequently printed thereon so as to be overlapped with the resin layer 3' to form a transparent pattern layer 3. As the hard resin and soft resin forming said pattern layer 3, a methacrylic resin and a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer resin are respectively used in a solution form. After printing and drying, a metal film layer 4 having metal gloss is formed to the dried surface by an ion plating method. Next, when the obtained laminated material is heat-treated, the part of the soft resin layer 3" is shrunk and a surface becomes to such a state that smooth parts and rough parts are intermingled with each other.
