PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated sheet having good thickness accuracy and no appearance inferiority by a method wherein laminates, each of which is formed by arranging metal foils to the upper and lower surfaces of a material prepared by superposing a required number of resin impregnated base materials each other, are laminated and molded.
CONSTITUTION: As the resin of a resin impregnated base material to be used, a phenol resin, a cresol resin, an epoxy resin, a fluorocarbon resin, a modified resin thereof and a mixture thereof are used. As the base material, there are a fabric, a nonwoven fabric, a mat, paper or a combination thereof composed of an inorg. fiber of glass or asbestos, an org. synthetic fiber of polyester or an acrylic resin or a natural fiber. The resin impregnated base material obtained by impregnating the base material with the resin to dry the impregnated one is cut at both ends thereof in the longitudinal and lateral directions, and the cut ends are heated by an electric iron, far infrared rays or laser to be re-melted and solidified. A metal foil is composed of copper, aluminum, iron, an alloy thereof or a composite product thereof.
