To prevent slurry for a ceramic capacitor from developing a composition shift or flocculating, and eliminate a change in the characteristics of slurry such as the composition and viscosity of the slurry, and further, cause no degradation of the characteristics of a sintered product.
Slurry for a ceramic capacitor is quenched down to temperatures of 5°C or less and is set to such a state that it is not fluidized, and is preserved as such. Consequently, the slurry for a ceramic capacitor is prevented from developing a composition shift or becoming flocculated, and a change in the characteristics of the slurry such as the composition or viscosity of the slurry is eliminated. In addition, a method for preserving the slurry in an extremely stable condition so that the characteristics of a sintered product are not degraded, is obtained.
