Title:
PRESET CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0698327
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of electric wires by digitizing an analog control signal and converting the digital signal into serial data.

CONSTITUTION: A modulation control signal received from a reception terminal 8 is demodulated by a demodulator 9, converted into serial data, which are converted into parallel data by a serial parallel converter 10 and the parallel data are fed to an output conversion section 11, in which the data are converted into a DC output, an AC output and a relay contact output or the like according to each control and the result is outputted from an output terminal 12. In the transmission function, potentiometer signal input terminals 1 and A/D converters 2 have four systems because of horizontal and vertical turning of a universal head and zoom and focus of a lens, each voltage change is obtained when a drive motor is driven. The converter 2 applies ADD-conversion to the voltage from the potentiometer, the resulting parallel data 3 are fed to a parallel serial converter 4, and the resulting serial data are outputted from a terminal 7 via a modulator 6 together with the parallel data from a signal input terminal 5. Thus, preset control and control of a camera section are attained by one controller, number of control wires is reduced and the control range is extended.
