Abstract:
PURPOSE: To construct soundproof walls erected along both sides of an elevated road or a road for a freeway, etc., to have the arrangement of a specific angle of inclination capable of dealing with a complicated sound source and to have the soundproof walls excellent in outside perspective efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A perspective soundproof wall is constituted of soundproof wall sections 1, 1,..., and perspective wall sections 2, 2,... the perspective wall sections 2 are so arranged that they are at approximate right angles or an angle (θ5) inclined in a running direction of a car to the axial line D of a rood R, and serrated arrangement is made as a whole. In such a perspective soundproof wall W, the incidence of driver's eyes 3 (a left boundary line of driving visibility) for a running car C are made at slightly slanting angles to the perspective wall sections 2, and the ends of each of the soundproof wall sections 1 are so arranged that they are overlapped each other in the direction V of the main sound source, so that the perspective wall sections 2 are arranged in a state to hide them completely from the direction V of the sound source, and the leakage of noises from the perspective wall sections 2 is completely prevented.
