Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a pressure boosting and transmitting apparatus which can discharge a fluid, the pressure of which is raised for a pressure receiving area of a piston unit capable of retreating resisting an elastic member in one partitioned chamber on the outlet side of a cylindrical casing partitioned into two chambers by a partition plate. CONSTITUTION:When a pump 17 is started and pressurized oil is supplied from a pressure feed pipe 20 through a check valve 21 to a first chamber 6, the pressurized oil goes into a second chamber 8 through a through hole 4 of a partition plate 3 so as to fill the chamber therewith, and then the pressurized oil is properly sent to a hydraulic engine through a pressure discharge pipe 22. At this time, the oil pressure in the chamber 2 acts upon a pressure receiving surface of a piston unit 9 to push down the piston unit 9 at a fixed amount resisting an elastic member, so that the pressure of the pressurized oil to be fed to the hydraulic engine increases depending upon the pressure receiving area of the piston unit 9. When at this time the internal pressure of the chambers 6, 8 rises due to some cause, the piston unit 9 is further retreated and a contacting member 16A checks retreat of a rod 13, which causes a valve seat 10 to separate from a valve 12, resulting in that surplus pressure in the chamber 8 is discharged from an outlet 23.
