PURPOSE: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive compsn. having excellent heat resistance and silicone-strippability, consisting of an org. polymer contg. a hydrolyzable silicon-contg. group, a tackifying resin and a curing catalyst.

CONSTITUTION: 0W140pts.wt. tackifying resin such as rosin ester resin or low- molecular PS resin and 0.01W20pts.wt. curing catalyst such as an organozir conium or organoaluminum compd. of formula III or IV [wherein n is 0W4; lis 0W3; R is a 1W20C monovalent hydrocarbon group; Y is a 1W8C (halogenated) hydrocarbon group, (cyano)alkoxy, etc.] are blended with 100pts.wt. org. polymer having a MW of 3,000W15,000 such as alkylene oxide polymer contg. at least one hydroxyazable silicon-contg. group, obtd. by adding a hydro genated silicone compd. of formula I [wherein R2 is R' or a triorganosiloxy group of formula II (wherein R' is a 1W20C monovalent hydrocarbon group); X is a hydroxyl, hydrolyzable group; a is 0W3; b is 0W2; m is 1W18] to an alkylene oxide polymer contg. unsaturated groups in the presence of a platinum compd. catalyst by a hydrosilylating reaction.
