Abstract:
To accurately detect low pressure in a pressure sensor with two stems, having pressure-sensing sections in a housing, when the pressure is detected over a wide pressure range, starting from a low pressure to a high pressure in the pressure medium.
The housing 10 is provided with two stems, with one stem being made thin and is used for use at a low pressure for improving the sensitivity by thinning a diaphragm, and the other stem is for use at a high pressure. An opening 12 of a pressure inlet hole 13, corresponding to the low pressure stem, is provided with a valve member 16 for blocking the opening 12, if pressure of a fixed value is introduced.
