To provide a pressure vessel for preventing lateral slipping of a hoop winding layer in a dome section without positioning displacement.
The pressure vessel 11 has a liner 14 formed in a shape having dome sections 13 at both ends of a cylindrical section 12 and having a gas barrier property, and an FRP-made shell 15 for covering the outside. A projection 16 is formed in the center of the dome sections 13 on the liner 14, and the projection 16 has a screw hole 16a as a mouth piece. Each shoulder section 23 of the liner 14 is provided with a regulating section 24 for regulating slipping of the hoop winding layer 21 to the projection 16 side during winding of the hoop winding layer 21. The regulating sections 24 are formed projectingly from the liner 14. The regulating sections 24 are formed in both shoulder sections 23 of the liner 14.
