Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at simplifying the arrangement of a transmission device, by providing a rotary electrical machine coupled with a connected synchronizer, in an electrical circuit having a power source which uses power delivered from a rotary element in an electrical coupling unit for transmitting an output from a prime mover to the load side, and by connecting a field coil in the electromagnetic coupling unit with the rotary electrical machine. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizer 8 is rotated by a power delivered from an a.c. circuit 7 and simultaneously feeds an a.c. exciting current to the circuit 7. Accordingly, a commutated inverter 22 is surely operated as a separate excitation type one, thereby the device is simplified. Further, the synchronizer 8 rotates a second rotary electrical machine 9 coupled thereto. A total loss in rotation between the synchronizer 8 and the rotary electrical machine 9 balances with a voltage applied to the input terminal of the synchronizer 8. That is, by adjusting the input voltage of the synchronizer 8, the rotational speed of the synchronizer 8 is controlled so that a detecting device 26 detects the frequency of the circuit 7 to control a power rectifier 21 for obtaining a constant frequency in accordance with a set frequency and an error, thereby the a.c. power frequency of the a.c. circuit 7 is controlled to be constant.
