To provide a printing job control apparatus which can automatically convert the finish process indication of a printing job for a lithographic printing into the finish process indication of the print job for a digital printing.
The printing job control apparatus includes: an acquiring means which acquires the post-process function information of the digital printing machine; a determining means which refers to the post-process function information and the printing job and determines whether the post-process function of the digital printing machine should be used or the post-processing machine should be used for the post-process; a first generation method which generates a printing job to be conducted by the post-process function of the digital printing machine; a second generation method which generates a printing job to be conducted by the post-processing machine; and a communication means which transmits the printing jobs generated by the first and second generation means respectively to the digital printing machine and the post-processing machine.
