Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a process for carrying out effective delignification of an unbleached paper pulp by which a pulp exhibiting high specific properties within a wide temp range.
CONSTITUTION: The process is to improve the selectivity of delignification of a chemical paper pulp by means of an org. peroxyacid, in which the unbleached pulp obtained from the cooking operation is treated with an aq. soln. of the org. peroxyacid in the presence of at least one stabilizer selected from phosphonic acids and their salts.
