Abstract:

To reduce the man-hour required for manufacturing a rotary electric machine.

A DC motor with brush comprises a yoke assembly consisting of a yoke, a pair of magnets secured to the inner surface of the yoke and a coating applied to the surface of the yoke, and an armature contained rotatably in the yoke. The yoke assembly is assembled through a step for bonding the magnet to the inner surface of the yoke through an adhesive, a step for coating the surface of the yoke bonded with the magnet with powder paint, and a step for heating the yoke coated with paint powder by means of a high frequency induction heating coil. The adhesive being applied in the step for bonding the magnet is dried during the heating step together with the coating.
