To obtain an animal hair-based fiber fabric that prevents the animal hair-based fibers from heat-building up by moisture or water absorption peculiar to animal hair-based fiber by applying an aminoplast resin and a catalyst for it to animal hair-based fabric and treating them by heat.

After a treating solution containing an aminoplast resin, as glyoxal resin or N-methylol resin, and a catalyst for it is applied to animal hair-based fiber fabric such as wool wove n fabric by padding or coating method, they are dried at a temp. of 80-180°C, then heat-treated at a temp. of 150-180°C to complete the cross-linking reaction thereby blocking amino groups and carboxyl groups in the wool fibers.
