Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device that can reduce processing time as a whole without burning out a regenerative resistor for consuming power which is generated when decelerating a spindle.SOLUTION: The processing device comprises: a motor for rotating a spindle; a driving circuit for supplying driving power to the motor, to which is connected a regenerative resistor for consuming power which is generated when decelerating the spindle; and a control portion that controls rotation of the spindle by controlling operation of the driving circuit. The control portion performs control so that deceleration time when the spindle is decelerated is set, based on elapsed time after latest deceleration operation, to be relatively shorter when the elapsed time is longer and to be relatively longer when the elapsed time is shorter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
