Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a socket which has favorable processibility and connecting and installing properties, by forming the rubber ring socket having dimensional stability, in an olefin synthetic resin pipe having shrink properties.
CONSTITUTION: In a processing method of a faucet of a synthetic resin pipe 10 comprised of olefin resin, it is constituted so that a cylinder 13 made of synthetic resin whose inside diameter part is provided with a groove 12 fitted with a rubber ring is molded beforehand, the above-mentioned cylinder 13 is inserted into the inside diameter part of a pipe end of the synthetic resin pipe 10, which is heated and softened, by exceeding a length of the cylinder 13 and the socket 11 provided with the groove 12 fitted with the rubber ring is formed.
