To provide an improved method for feeding reaction heat in aromatization of methane.
The method includes: a step (a) of bringing a feeding material 14 containing the methane into contact with a dehydration-cyclization catalyst in a reaction zone 11; a step (b) of transferring a first part of the catalyst from the reaction zone to a heating zone 16; a step (c) of bringing the first part of the catalyst into contact with a combustion gas generated by burning an auxiliary fuel source 15 that contains hydrocarbon for heat, and of burning the hydrocarbon under the atmosphere of the shortage of oxygen to generate a synthetic gas; a step (d) of converting the synthetic gas into a hydrocarbon product or a fuel; a step (e) of returning the heated first part of the catalyst to the reaction zone; a step (f) of transferring a second part of the catalyst from the reaction zone to another regeneration zone; a step (g) of making contact to a regeneration gas from the second part of the catalyst in the regeneration zone under condition in which coke is partially removed; and a step (h) of returning the second part of the regeneration catalyst to the reaction zone.
