Abstract:
PURPOSE: To certainly prevent the generation of the bending or housing inferiority of the lead frame of a part by integrally molding an emboss part along with a stand-shaped part and a rib and successively holding the stand-shaped part and the emboss part by the female and male molds corresponding to the respective parts.
CONSTITUTION: A carrier tape 1 is obtained by integrally molding an emboss part 2 to a long thermoplastic resin sheet by press molding or vacuum molding simultaneously with the molding of a stand-shaped part 3 and ribs 5. Next, this molded product is guided to a press mold apparatus 11 to hold and support the flat part around the emboss part 2 from above and below by a stripper plate 14 and a die 15. When both upper and rear surfaces of the stand-shaped part 3 of the molded product are held by the male and female mods 18, 19 for the stand-shaped part, the ribs 5 are pressed by the lower edge part of the male mold 18 and R of an inside rising part 10 becomes small and the gaps on the rear side of the ribs 5 are crushed.
