PURPOSE: To cheaply produce a composite sheet having characteristics such as electroconductivity imparted thereto by supplying a fibrous material dispersion on the surface of a continuously traveling fiber fabric, laminating the fibrous material on the surface of the fiber fabric, jetting a pressurized fluid from the front surface or the back surface of the obtained laminate to interlace and integrate the fabric and the fibrous material.
CONSTITUTION: A dispersion (preferably comprising water as a dispersion medium) of a staple-like material (preferably having ≤30 de single fiber size, and 1-30 mm fiber length) is supplied to the surface of a continuously traveling fiber fabric and the fibrous material is laminated on the fabric. A pressurized fluid is jetted from the front surface or the back surface of the obtained laminate to interlace and integrate the fibrous material and the fabric, and to produce the objective composite sheet having characteristics such as animal hair- like feeling, moisture absorption and flame resistance imparted by the laminated staple-like material, in large scale.
