Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a soft fiber napped sheetlike material having moderate stretchability and sprinkly colored feeling.
CONSTITUTION: This fiber napped sheetlike material is obtained by dyeing a napped sheetlike substrate consisting essentially of ultrafine fiber having a metric lightness (L*) satisfying the following (l) to (3) and an elastic polymer consisting essentially of a polyurethane so as to provide ≥30 apparent metric lightness: (1) L*(1)≤25, (2) L*(2)≥45 and (3) 0.8L*(2)≤L*(3)≤0.95L*(2), with the proviso that L*(1) is the metric lightness of the elastic polymer; L*(2) is the metric lightness of the ultrafine fiber; L*(3) is the apparent metric lightness of the napped sheetlike substrate.
