PURPOSE: To make it possible to simplify process for production and to provide the flexible pipe having stable quality by executing pressing of the flexible pipe without spending excess time and obtaining a resin coating having a uni form thickness.

CONSTITUTION: A core member 2 consisting of an elastic material is inserted into the blank of the flexible pipe consisting of the constitution formed by putting a net pipe 5 knitted to a net form on a spiral pipe 4 formed to a nearly circular shape in sectional shape and further coating the outer periphery of this member with a resin 6 having elasticity and the blank of the flexible pipe inserted with this core member 2 is pressed in this state, by which the flexible pipe having the prescribed irregular sectional shape is produced.
