PURPOSE: To feed inorg. powdery starting material to a burner without aggregating, to smoothly sphere the starting material and to obtain superior quality of a product by previously blowing the starting material into gaseous fuel and setting blades in a transfer pipe for feeding the fuel to the burner.
CONSTITUTION: Gaseous fuel and combustion improving gas are fed from a burner 4, a high temp. flame is formed in a furnace 1 and inorg. powdery starting material is jetted into the flame, melted and sphered. At this time, the starting material is previously blown into the gaseous fuel and blades 9 are set in a transfer pipe 6 for feeding the fuel to the burner 4. The starting material can be fed without aggregating and can smoothly be sphered and superior quality of a product can be obtd.
